Rockstar Games Presents An Original Short Film Made From Red Dead Redemption
Today we invite you to steal a sneak peak at A Short Film Made From Red Dead Redemption, set to air this Saturday night, May 29 at midnight exclusively on the FOX Broadcasting Network. This 60-second teaser pulls back the curtain on the ambitious 30-minute short film, created and directed by John Hillcoat (the director of The Proposition and The Road), chronicling a slice-in-time of protagonist John Marston as he tracks down his former fellow outlaw and friend, Bill Williamson. Along the way, Marston encounters many of Red Dead Redemption's eclectic cast of dreamers, misfits and liars.
Using the world of Red Dead Redemption as a virtual film studio and created entirely with in-game assets and technology, Hillcoat reimagines Marston’s pursuit of justice and salvation.
2k Games Releases New Episode of it's Mafia II Developer Video Series
2K Games has released the latest installment of its Mafia II Developer Video Series called "Episode 2: Taking Care of Business - Gunfights, Car Chases & Melee Combat."
In development by 2K Czech, the same creative team behind the award-winning, genre-defining Mafia®, Mafia® II transports gamers into the dark and unforgiving world of the Mafia. The compelling narrative is embellished by a sophisticated, era-evoking atmosphere that meticulously replicates the clothing, cars, music and advertising of 1940's and 1950's Americana. Players will easily become immersed in the game's cinematic Hollywood-style experience with strong, believable characters in a living, breathing metropolis. By fusing high-octane gunplay with white-knuckle driving and an engaging narrative, Mafia II looks to be the industry's most compelling Mafia title to date.
Mafia II will be available in North America on August 24, 2010 and internationally on August 27, 2010 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC. Today we are happy to debut the second full-length trailer for Red Dead Redemption. Titled “My Name is John Marston,” this sneak peak at next year’s highly-anticipated open-world western adventure sheds the first light on Redemption’s gritty, action-packed narrative. Spanning a massive countryside that includes the American frontier, tumultuous Mexican border towns, and the bustling cities of the Northeast, trailer 2 hints at Marston’s motivations and highlights a few of the colorful characters he will encounter on his journey.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today released a new TEKKEN® 6 PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system trailer. Featuring all the intensity of its console brethren, TEKKEN 6 offers an extensive single player experience, challenging gameplay modes and robust features to make it the perfect on-the-go companion.
Delivering the fiercest brawls ever on a handheld system, TEKKEN 6 allows players to test their portable might in a variety of game modes anywhere and at any time. Fight against a series of AI-controlled characters in Arcade mode or go through a sequence of battles to collect in-game money in Time Attack, Survival and Gold Rush modes. TEKKEN 6 also sees the return of many familiar faces and new characters to create the largest line-up in franchise history. With a robust customization feature, players will be able to personalize their favorite warrior with almost limitless possibilities.
In addition to containing all 18 battle stages found in the home console version, TEKKEN 6 for the PSP system will also support ad-hoc multiplayer battles across an additional four stages. Furthermore, players will have the ability to transfer ghost data allowing fights against opponents' characters even when not connected with them.
